1. Who we are (Data Controller)

My Sleep Architect — Lukasz Star (sole proprietor), Werdstrasse 126, 8003 Zürich, Switzerland. Contact: info@mysleeparchitect.com. We ("My Sleep Architect", "we") are responsible for how your personal data is handled on this website. As we are based in Switzerland, the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) applies; where we target visitors in the EEA/UK, the GDPR / UK GDPR also applies.

2. What we collect and why

Advertising & analytics cookies (only with your consent): If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and processes your IP address, browser/device data, and on-site actions (page views, clicks on our buy buttons) to measure and optimise our advertising.
Region detection (no cookies): On your first visit we make a one-time IP-based country lookup (via ipapi.co) solely to determine whether we must ask for cookie consent (EEA/UK) before loading any tracking. This sets no cookies and stores no identifier.
Checkout: Purchases are processed by Gumroad, our merchant of record. When you proceed to checkout you leave this site; Gumroad collects the data needed to complete your order and handle applicable VAT/taxes under its own privacy policy.

3. Legal basis

For advertising/analytics cookies and the Meta Pixel, our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); ePrivacy). You can decline, and you can withdraw consent at any time (see section 6). No pixel or advertising cookie loads before you accept.

4. Who receives your data

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (and Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA) as joint/independent controller for Pixel data; Gumroad, Inc. for payment and delivery. Transfers to the USA rely on the applicable EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where available.

5. Retention

Consent preferences are stored in your browser (localStorage) until you clear them. Meta and Gumroad retain data per their own policies.

6. Your rights & withdrawing consent

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing. To withdraw cookie consent, use the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer (this clears your choice and re-shows the banner). To exercise other rights, contact info@mysleeparchitect.com. You may also complain to your competent data protection authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EEA/UK, your local supervisory authority.
